Product Quality Assurance/Quality Control

Product quality assurance is a cornerstone of the West Coast General Corporation corporate culture. It is more than a list of functions or check and balance controls. It is an integral part of decision-making at every level of our corporate structure - executive, management, supervisory and field operations. Pertinent decisions weigh the effect these decisions have on quality assurances - Will this decision affect product quality? How will it affect quality? How do we preserve quality and solve the problem? Quality assurance is not just an outline of controls, however important that is, but a mindset to not compromise the level of quality established for each project.

Quality control focuses on insuring all Team members meet or exceed the quality goals set for the project. This is achieved through systematic procedures at critical junctures in a project - special, independent testing/inspection and internal Team performance quality controls.

Special/Independent Testing and Inspection

  • Inspection reporting/documentation

  • Quality Control Checklist of work
  • Testing plan and log

Internal Performance Team Quality Control

  • Weekly tail-gate meetings to review tenant coordination/courtesies

  • Environmental and Energy conservation
  • Security Compliance
  • Waste Management
  • Existing Facilities Protection
