Landfill Extraction Project, San Diego, California - $240,000,000 |

| West
Coast General designed, managed and constructed the excavation
and rock extraction of the Miramar Landfill for the City of
San Diego. This project entailed the excavation of 70,000,000
cubic yards of rock and soil; processing the rock matrix into
marketable aggregate products, thereby increasing the life
of the landfill seven years; and providing capping material
for the landfill operation. |

Camp Pendleton, Airfield Apron Expansion, Oceanside, California

| West Coast General constructed over 1.4 million
square feet of PCC pavement for the new and rehabilitated
airfield apron at Camp Pendleton. A portable crushing operation
processed 70,000 tons of concrete and asphalt debris into
quality base aggregates utilized in the apron expansion. A
concrete batch plant was mobilized to produce over 55,000
cubic yards of concrete. The full operation of the MCAS helicopter
squadrons went uninterrupted during the 18 month construction
period. Completion was on time and without safety incidents. |

Defense Support Complex, MCAS Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California

| West Coast General completed this 88,000 square
foot, multi-building training and simulation complex for the
United States Navy two months ahead of schedule. The various
buildings consisted of flight simulation, computer classrooms,
vehicle maintenance facilities and guard houses. A new 2.5
mile road was constructed while maintaining uninterrupted
daily traffic loads to the training site. |

| West Coast General served as General Contractor
on this unique mix of civil engineering and building construction.
The 58,000 square foot structure housed Navy LCAC hovercraft.
The concrete aprons provided transition surfaces from the
waters of the Pacific Ocean to the beach heads of the southern
California coast. The project was completed on time and with
minimal budget excess. |

Restoration, Bonita, California - $2,890,000 |
|
| West Coast General excavated 500,000 cubic yards
of soil, eradicated 25 acres of exotic plants, restored over
80 acres of natural habitat, and planted and irrigated over
1.0 million native plants to restore this site for a 5 year
mitigation period. Completion was on time and the one year
maintenance period successfully completed. |

| This project required lowering a 50,000 ADT
intersection twenty vertical feet under continuous traffic
loads. Utility coordination and relocation involved a 24"
CMLC water main, a 12" 900 PSI gas transmission pipeline,
fiber optic lines, numerous domestic water lines, and power,
phone and cable TV packages. West Coast General completely
restructured the phasing plan to meet the 14 month completion
time. Maintaining services to UCSD, Scripps Hospital, the
Salk Institute and the Torrey Pines Golf Course required extensive
coordination and planning. |

Airport Road and Carlsbad Boulevard Road Widening, Carlsbad,

| This 4.5 mile road widening expanded these streets
from two lanes to four and six lane roadways. 1.5 million
cubic yards of earthwork, 4.5 miles of 12" and 24"
CMLC watermain, power, phone, cable TV, future fiber optic
conduit, 275,000 tons of Class 2 base, 155,000 tons of asphalt
paving, 25 miles of curb, gutter and sidewalk, 1.1 million
square feet of irrigation and landscaping was completed within
the allotted contract time. Traffic control and vehicle phasing
was complicated and extensive in handling 65,000 ADTs each
day. |

| West Coast General Corporation reconstructed
the intersections of Ardath Road, La Jolla Boulevard and North
Torrey Pines Road to unclog the second busiest intersection
in San Diego County - 65,000 cars per day. The work involved
CTB and asphalt paving, archeological and paleontological
monitoring, PCC paving, curbs/driveway, landscaping, irritation
and retaining walls. |

on this Capital Improvement Project that included mass grading,

and the addition of a new 20A utility underground conversion. |
